Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Nayab Singh Saini ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Haryana and all the colleagues who took oath as ministers along with him. In his message he said that “This team is a wonderful confluence of good governance and experience, which will take the development of the state to new heights along with realizing the dreams of the people here. I am confident that the double engine government will leave no stone unturned in serving the poor, farmers, soldiers, youth and women as well as every section of the society.”
BJP leader Nayab Singh Saini today took oath as the Chief Minister of Haryana for the second consecutive time in a grand oath-taking ceremony held at the Shalimar Ground in Panchkula. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office and secrecy in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Thirteen MLAs took oath as cabinet ministers and ministers of state along with him. The names of MLAs who took the oath as cabinet ministers include seven-time MLA from Ambala Cantt Anil Vij, MLA from Israna and former Rajya Sabha member Krishan Lal Panwar, MLA from Badshahpur Rao Narbir Singh, MLA from Panipat Grameen Mahipal Dhanda, MLA from Faridabad Vipul Goyal, Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, MLA from Gohana, and Shyam Singh Rana, MLA from Radaur. Former Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa, Krishan Kumar Bedi, Shruti Chaudhary, and Kumari Aarti Singh Rao have also been included in the cabinet. The MLAs who took the oath as Ministers of State (Independent Charge) include Rajesh Nagar and Gaurav Gautam.
Apart from Prime Minister Modi, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Manohar Lal, Lallan Singh, Assam Chief Minister Hemant Biswa Sharma, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP leaders Devendra Fadnavis, Ram Mohan Yadav, and many other prominent leaders of the BJP and NDA participated in the oath-taking ceremony.
This momentous occasion not only celebrated the re-election of a dedicated leader like Nayab Singh Saini but also underscored the power of the “double engine” government—a concept often emphasized by the BJP. This term symbolizes the strong coordination between state and central governments, ensuring that welfare schemes and development initiatives flow seamlessly to the people, thus accelerating growth across all sectors.
The inclusion of a robust team of ministers further strengthens the promise of efficient governance. With experienced leaders like Anil Vij, Krishan Lal Panwar, and Rao Narbir Singh, coupled with energetic and dedicated public servants like Shruti Chaudhary and Kumari Aarti Singh Rao, the team represents a powerful blend of wisdom and youthful dynamism. Their collective expertise is expected to guide Haryana toward new heights of prosperity.
Prime Minister Modi’s presence at the ceremony, along with other national leaders, highlighted the significance of Haryana in the national political landscape. This oath-taking not only marks the beginning of a new term for Saini but also a new era for the state, one committed to the service of every citizen—be it the youth, farmers, soldiers, or women—underlining the BJP’s core values of inclusive growth and development.
The swearing-in of Nayab Singh Saini as Chief Minister of Haryana delivered a major blow to the Congress party, particularly to Rahul Gandhi’s efforts to regain political ground in the state. The Congress, which had hoped to stage a comeback in Haryana, faced a significant defeat as Saini’s leadership and the BJP’s solid voter base ensured a decisive victory. This event signals a clear rejection of Congress’s policies and a setback for Rahul Gandhi’s national political strategy. With the BJP’s strong mandate, the Congress is left to reassess its approach and rework its leadership strategies in Haryana.
